Marv & I met in the first class of our first day of 7th grade, at Ralston Intermediate.
After Carlmont, he briefly joined me at SFSU, before graduating CCSF's hospitality program, eventually taking ownership of his family's restaurant.
He was a dedicated
fan of music and movies, comedy, and, of course, his beloved 'Niners.  Thoughout the '80s we enjoyed many large & raucous Super Bowl parties at his parents' home in Belmont.
Marv was, himself, a gifted musician and artist -- wickedly funny --  a joyful & wonderful human being.   He was an easy friend, and loved by many.
We laughed constantly.   I'm grateful and proud that we remained best friends (brothers, really) for over 40 years - 'til the day he passed, in 2017.
Marvin was a devoted friend, and loving family man.   He touched and left a wife & 3 daughters, his wonderful parents, brother, nieces & nephews, many cousins, and friends & associates.

The world's just a little dimmer without his bright light.
Rest In Peace.   We love and miss you so <3
